Building Energy Rating Certification

In an effort to conform to the Kyoto Protocol each and every building must have or will soon need to have a Building Energy Certificate. Assist Project Management are one of the few Project Management companies that can offer its clients a Building Energy Certificate by its SEI accredited Assessors.

ASSIST Project Management provides the following services:

New Dwellings

• From January 2007 all new dwellings require a Building Energy Certificate.
• ASSIST gives you a complete detailed analysis of your new dwelling
• Where practical, ASSIST recommends improvements that can be made to achieve a better Energy Rating
• Thorough audits of building materials and systems will help clients achieve  optimum Energy Ratings and help future proof their dwellings

New Buildings

• From July 2008 all new buildings will require a Building Energy Certificate.
• ASSIST will produce a preliminary Building Energy Certificate based on the drawings and specifications of the new build.
• ASSIST will identify the distribution system losses and gains of the building’s primary and secondary heating systems.
• ASSIST will produce an Advisory Report including a list of suggested improvements.
• ASSIST will undertake a final Building Energy Assessment and issue a Certificate once the construction is complete

Existing Buildings

• From January 2009 all existing buildings will require a Building Energy Certificate.
• ASSIST will survey your building and issue a list of rational improvements that can be made to upgrade your existing buildings Energy Rating..
